Wedding invitation links: a simple guide for your Indian celebration

A wedding invitation link gives your guests one place to find the details of your celebration. You share a web address, and they open your invitation in a browser on their phone. Whether your family calls it a wedding invite, a shadi invitation or a shaadi card, the aim is the same: make people feel welcome and help them arrive with confidence.

What is a wedding invitation link?

It is a small website for your invitation. Instead of fitting every detail into an image, you can give your names, a welcome message and each function its own space. A guest can scroll from the invitation to the schedule and venue directions.

A link is different from a PDF, a printed card or a video. A PDF can be saved as a document; a video tells the story in a fixed sequence. An invitation website lets guests return to the detail they need. You can still use a printed card alongside it for relatives who prefer one. Guests need an internet connection to open the website.

What should your digital invitation include?

Keep personal details deliberate. An invitation link can be forwarded, so include only the information you are comfortable sharing with guests. Private previews and payment links should stay between you and Kirti.

  • The couple’s names, checked for the spelling and order you want.
  • A warm invitation from the couple, their families or both.
  • The date, time and venue of every function this guest is invited to.
  • A clear location or map link, plus practical arrival information.
  • Optional photographs, an RSVP section or a space for guest wishes, according to your chosen package.

How Celebrating All creates your invitation

This is an assisted service: Kirti sets up your invitation with you. You do not need to arrange blocks or learn a design tool yourself. The samples show design directions; your final content is agreed before publication.

  • Browse the sample designs and choose a style: botanical, architectural heritage or contemporary festive.
  • Share your wedding details and preferences with Kirti. Confirm the package, included sections, revisions and delivery timing.
  • Review your private preview on a phone. Ask family members to check names, wording, dates and venue details.
  • Approve the invitation and complete the agreed payment. After Kirti verifies payment and publishes it, share the invitation link.

One invitation for more than one function

Indian weddings often bring people together across several occasions. Your invitation can give an engagement, mehendi, haldi, sangeet, ceremony or reception its own date, time and location. Include the functions your family is actually hosting, rather than starting from a fixed list of rituals.

A nikah and walima, a church ceremony and reception, or an interfaith celebration may need different wording and schedules. Share those details with Kirti. Language, typography and any religious artwork should be confirmed for the chosen design before ordering.

Before you send the link

  • Open the published link, rather than the private preview.
  • Check it on a smaller phone and tap each venue link.
  • Confirm that the message and invitation show the same date and time.
  • Send it to a trusted family member first, then share with your guest list.
  • Keep the link easy to find in your WhatsApp message. Guests should not need to search through a long paragraph.

What does a wedding invitation link cost?

There is no confirmed public price list yet. Ask Kirti to confirm the total, included components, revisions, delivery time and hosting period before you pay. A simpler invitation and one with guest responses or extra functions may have different requirements.

Guest access to a published Celebrating All invitation does not require an account. The couple’s account is used for reviewing their order and managing the available guest-response features.
